Honda CRF450R 2009 and CRF450X 05-09 Heavy Flywheels

Trail Tech is pleased to announce the release of two new heavy flywheels for off road riders. The first is for the extremely popular 2009 CRF450R. The second is for the Honda’s mainstay in their line up of enduro bikes – the 450X. The flywheel fits all years 450X (2005-2009).

The stock flywheel on both machines is 18 ounces; the Trail Tech flywheels add 17 ounces (482 grams).

All Trail Tech flywheels are precision machined and carefully balanced. They are complete replacements rather than added on weights. Using a heavier flywheel results in a more tractable power delivery, reduces rider fatigue and wear and tear on the clutch. When combined with a Trail Tech high output stator, the end result is a 10% increase in lighting potential as compared with running a high output stator with stock flywheel.

Both of these new products are designed to run either with the stock stator, or with a Trail Tech aftermarket high output stator.

2009 CRF450R: Trail Tech stator plus Trail Tech flywheel provides up to 120 watts. Remember that the fuel injection requires approximately 35 watts of that.

2005-2009 CRF450X: Trail Tech flywheel plus Trail Tech stator provides up to 120 watts
