Kurt Caselli Takes home the Pro Class win at the World Off-Road Championship Series Round 9 at Glen Helen, Ca. Also, KTM Factory rider Mike Brown followed in second place, and JCR Honda Holeshot rider Timmy Weigand takes third. The Race was a long and challenging race for all riders with temperatures in the high 90’s. Not only was the sun beating down, the WORCS -X section claimed a few victims on the first 2 laps with the massive tire pile, which was after a water hole.
Bobby Bonds, WORCS #1 Plate holder, benched this race due to recovering from a few broken ribs at a previous round.
Northland Motorsports / Precision Concepts team Member Jamie Lanza had a great beginning of the race, trailing in 3rd for the first quarter but got held up the the WORCS -X section and dropped to 13th. Bob Bell of Precision Concepts also unveiled their 2009 Baja 1000 1x bike, with team members Robby Bell, Steve Hengeveld, Destry Abbott and the Penhall Brothers rounding out the team.
The remaining round 10 heads to Mesquite, Nv on October 23-25.
