It all started in August of 2005, when a conversation driving home from a race about the lack of off-road coverage would spark an idea that would turn out to be DUST Off-Road Magazine. It was thought that it would be a small publication with only local coverage of the desert racing scene. The first issue was only 36 pages, but after only a few issues, it began to grow and expand into a nationally distributed magazine with over 80 pages of exclusive off-road content. The publication continues it’s strive to become the nations best off-road magazine, making us unlike any other dirt bike publication.

The background of DUST comes from over 50 years of commercial printing experience. Our knowledge of print has provided a high dedication of quality to the magazine. “We believe that the production of the magazine itself is highly important to the reader, and we know how to accomplish that”. Benson Printing Company continues to play a strong role in the production of DUST.

Our Passion to produce DUST comes from a lifetime of motorcycling. Motorcycles have always been a part of the McClellan family, with decades of on and off-road riding, from touring the United States to racing in the desert, has been passed down for 3 generations. “Being on 2 wheels is in our blood, its like we are programmed that way. We want to share our passion for bikes with everyone, because it is a true family sport. With DUST, we can now accomplish that, and hopefully it shows in the magazine that we are truly enthusiasts.” DUST will continue its mission, steadily grow and bring off-road enthusiasts what they are craving for.
